It's now almost two months in to filming of Heroes season three - and by the looks of these behind-the-scenes pictures, there will be some interesting developments.
Milo is back as Peter Petrelli, with newly-slicked back hair and facial scar to rock the "Neo from The Matrix" look. Also, who's that walking alongside him? A clone, perhaps?
Claire-bear swaps pom-poms for guns in this scene, thought to be set at some point in the future:
Finally, a first glimpse at the new Heroes painting, which suggests the threat the gang will be dealing with in season three: an exploding Earth.

However, hopefully this time none of it is set in "Ireland" with proper Oirish accent's and all!  Pff!

Heroes creator promises more villains
Heroes creator and showrunner Tim Kring has promised that the show will be overloaded with villains in the future.
"You're going to see a lot of bad guys," he told Sci Fi Wire about the upcoming third season. "We're playing off the idea of our characters as heroes or villains. So it's really the duality of good and evil."
He continued: "All of our characters were given these powers and possess these powers. And at some point it becomes sort of free will and human nature as to what you're going to do with that.
"And all of us are given the choice to make decisions that lead us down very dark paths or towards heroic ends. And so, literally, every one of our characters gets faced with that dilemma."
The third season of Heroes will air on BBC Two later this year.

I gave up on Heroes at the season 1 finale- it just fizzled out and came to nothing really. I am intrigued by the D'arby O Gill oirland of season 2 though!

I loved Heroes but kinda agree..it fizzled a bit in season 2 but apparently loads of this was down to the writers strike in the US? i dunno..
the Irish setting was great but the accents were aaaaaaabysmal!! they even alluded to Cork being hilly, and i thought the pub looked spot on but it's a real shame they crashed on the accent.. SPOILER-though peter may return to that timeline..he does a lot of hopping between timelines apparently..

Love Heroes! And love Kirsten Bell's (from Veronica Mars)character in Season 2 - although I do agree with the above, Season 2 completely crashed. Let's hope they can reel it back in for Season3!
