To be told at 2:20am that you cant bring your drink upstairs seems pretty reasonable tp me, seeing that the bouncers are trying to make a start on clearing the place at that time......why come into a club 10 minutes before it closes ????????? {#Insert smilie}

I was in there the last two nights and the bouncers were very civil both nights.

Greeted on the way in and thanked on the way out!

I hadn't been since the bouncers had changed over and from reading here I thought they would be a nightmare haha!

But had no or saw no issue with them at all.

As Im said Kerrang I wanted to meet a friend of mine who was in the smoking area in the club.

There is a half hour "cleaning up" period after 2.30am so there is room for leeway (i had been in Bridies for over an hour afterall).

And it wasnt just the rules it was the uncivil, gruff, rude and arrogant manner of the pair that was the problem, ok.

Its happened to me in the past, where I havnt been let back upstairs or out to the smoking area at 2:30, regardless of whether my friends were there or not. So I collected my jackets and texted my friends to tell them to meet me outside....simple as that.

I have had no issue's with the new bounders in the G. The only concern for me was that they would not let regulars in, and also let barred people in

I believe you are not forced to go to the George?  Its is voluntary, so if you don't like it or don't want to abide by the rules, then don't go?

For the last time, and this is for Peevay, its not about rules. Its about HOW theyre enforced.
With manners, politeness and some dignity.

Not the way I was treated by two pig ignorant robots. OK.

We've asked you before to keep things civil. Please do so. Thanks.
