Robbie Williams: In And Out Of Consciousness

    Started by ImpossiblePrince| 11271 posts

In And Out Of Consciousness: The Greatest Hits 1990-2010 celebrates Robbie's incredible 20 years in music with 39 of his biggest and best songs on two action-packed discs, and now we can exclusively reveal the gorgeous album cover and fantastic tracklisting!

The image for the cover was captured by photographer Julian Broad, who also snapped Robbie for the Reality Killed The Video Star album cover and Bodies single sleeve. Shot on a beautiful day in May in Malibu, California, we think you'll agree Robbie's looking hot... It's no wonder he needed to cool-down by the sea! Scroll down to see the cover in all its glory.

    Tracklisting
Prepare to take a trip down memory lane with Robbie as the journey begins in present day with two new songs, Robbie's beautiful duet with Gary Barlow, Shame, which is also released as a single on 4th October 2010, and the feel-good track Heart And I, another fantastic Williams/Barlow co-written song.

The album then takes us backwards through the decades, featuring all the colossal songs from Robbie's eight solo studio albums over the years: Reality Killed The Video Star, Rudebox, Intensive Care, Escapology, Swing When You're Winning, Sing When You're Winning, I've Been Expecting You and Life Thru A Lens. The album is rounded off with a sprinkling of Take That gold dust, featuring Everything Changes, the boyband's fourth consecutive single to go straight in at number one in the UK way back in 1994. Doesn't time fly?!

According to The Sun, the five singers are planning to release an album before Christmas and then go on tour next year.

It has been reported that Williams will also record a 'Brokeback Mountain' themed music video with Gary Barlow, to accompany the song 'Shame', which they co-wrote.

An source said: "Everything is in place now to formally announce Robbie's return to Take That for one year only."

"He will announce his comeback with a public statement. Then he'll release 'Shame' with Gary."

What every good celeb does when their career stagnates into obscurity, suck up past rivalries and sell out.

i disagree i think its a genuine attempt to get back out there with friends that he has gotten reaquainted with...and trust me im the most cynical person when it comes to bands cashing in on former glories!

    anyway found the full story...

ROBBIE WILLIAMS is rejoining TAKE THAT for an album and tour - and a video with GARY BARLOW based on Brokeback Mountain.

The announcement will end years of speculation about whether the singer, 36, would ever get back with the group he quit in 1995.

They will release the album at Christmas, and then embark on a major stadium tour next summer.

But first Robbie and Gary will warm up with the video likening their love-hate relationship to the tormented gay cowboys in the 2005 flick.

The tongue-in-cheek promo will accompany single Shame, which Robbie and Gary, 39. co-wrote.

It is about Robbie's feelings for the boyband - famed for hits including Back For Good. He was the fifth member after joining in 1990 at 16.

An insider said: "In the song there's a line about how he went into Toys R Us and saw the four Take That dolls in a box and realised he felt left out."

The single is due out in October and will appear on Robbie's greatest hits album In And Out Of Consciousness.

He is rush releasing that in September - to clear the way for the Take That reunion.

An insider said: "Everything is in place now to formally announce Robbie's return to Take That for one year only.

"He will announce his comeback with a public statement. Then he'll release Shame with Gary."
