I have to agree with some of the comments above

I used to look forward to the monthly GCN but lately it is just boring

I find it concentrates on silly agendas and beauty tips and style  (hello)

Do we really need to told what products are best for our skin and what type clothes we should be wearing

Who are these so called experts?

The only saving grace is Shirley's interviews which are so funny

There should be more letters to editors and reviews of cafes /bars/concerts etc  and not just restaurants

And what about the over 35 gay men and women

Ther never seems to be anything of interest for them

    Rant over

I think the whole furore is OTT.  Wotsitsisface, the presenter, was clearly acknowledging how gorgeous Bressie is and how attractive the female viewers find him and (oddly, IMO) Kian.  It as a case of "hey I'm here too - show ME some love."  Jokingly suggesting that Bressie and Kian might be hot for each other was about humourously reminding the girlies that there are other boys on the planet.

As a gay who has been accused of being possibly a bit too sensitive about these ithings, I took NO issue with this joke.  Yes, tackling bullying is extremely important but this - in MY opinion - is a total over-reaction.  I think the TV station handled the defence really badly and that GCN and co need to take a chill pill.  On this occasion, anyway.  PIck your battles wisely, people.

Never, under any circumstances, take a laxative and a sleeping tablet on the same night
