why are we single?
[Edit: I see Hometime came in with a very sensible post while I was writing mine. Just in case it looks like I strolled over his post without interest]
Did you know that, while sharks are attracted to the scent of blood, they're absolutely terrified by the smell of dead shark.
People are constantly bleeding out information about themselves. Some information is attractive and some rapidly sends people in the opposite direction.
Someone bemoaning their single status too much is one of those things that can make people cross them off the big maybe list in their head.
Maybe you'd be better of asking people in relationships how they ended up that way? Did they have to let go of some hangups, or stop making poor choices? Maybe they just had to grow up, or get over themselves? Perhaps some people end up in relationships extremely easy, like people who can eat and eat and never put on weight?
Anyway, living in Cavan is probably not helping right? How regularly do you get to meet men who you get on well with?
Also, if you want to feel like you actually have it easy, watch The Undateables on 4OD
Don't you just love how Channel 4 tries to be exploitative and caring in the same breath?
Proud supplier of Jesus Christ bananas.
